Taking Reins 4-Day Transformational Equine Retreat
2 dates: October 1-4 and October 8-11
| SURFACE: | Private 1:1 horse constellation sessions. What the unconscious carries is rarely what the conscious mind knows. A horse is the most honest, unconditioned mirror available. Two facilitated private constellation sessions surface the thing you have been carrying. |
| OPEN: | Breathwork and acupuncture with horses. The body holds what the mind has articulated but not yet felt. Two hours of breathwork, followed by group acupuncture in the presence of horses, creates the somatic opening that makes the next phase possible. |
| STAND: | Taking Reins — the flagship group session. Saturday morning. The round pen. You enter, face the group, and say out loud — to 11 other people and a 600 kg horse — who you are and what you are taking the reins of. Once witnessed, it cannot be un-claimed. |
| ANCHOR: | 90-day integration system. Action plan. Three online cohort sessions. A buddy. A daily practice. Your audio declaration mailed at week 12. The retreat does not end on Sunday. It becomes a 90-day implementation |

What You Take Home | Why It Works |
|---|---|
| Your Personal Audio Declaration | A private recording of your Taking Reins declaration — in your own voice, from the round pen. Delivered at week 12. Hearing yourself claim it again, after 90 days of life have tried to make you forget, is an anchor nothing else replaces. |
| The Morning Reins Practice | A 5-minute daily practice already embedded in your body by Sunday. Three breaths. Name where you are holding the reins. Name where you’re dropping them. One micro-action. No app, no equipment. Done in a hotel bathroom on a Tuesday morning. |
| The Reins Method Framework | The four-phase arc you have just lived: Surface (constellations) · Open (breathwork and horses) · Stand (Taking Reins) · Anchor (90-day system). Naming the journey gives you vocabulary to articulate it to others. Vocabulary creates referral. |
| A Group of 12 | The 12 people who witnessed your declaration are connected to you. A private community with facilitator-hosted monthly calls for the first year, and an annual reunion at Alquimia at a reduced rate. The retreat does not end on Sunday. |
| An Individual Follow-Up Session | Six weeks after the retreat, a private 1:1 check-in with the lead horse constellation facilitator. Progress reviewed. Action plan adjusted against real-world resistance. |
